For court and/or legal purposes, transcripts are generally completed with the source and target language side by sideside by side, and following the guidelines suggested by the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters & Translators. Transcriptions can be also be certified for court purposes and we make every effort to find local linguists in the event a transcriber is needed as an expert witness for trial.

Unless requested otherwise, all of our transcriptions in languages other than English are completed using two linguists to transcribe, translate and subsequently review the documents, and they undergo a multi-step quality control process for grammatical and idiomatic accuracy. However, Para-Plus Translations works closely with clients to customize our transcription services to meet their needs based on the industry and project. We can accommodate a client's need transcribe in the source language only, translate into the target language only, or both.
