Because she did not speak English when she arrived in the United States, Sonia appreciates the importance of quality translation and interpretation.

Under her leadership, the company experienced more than 30 years of consistent growth and success. Today, Para-Plus Translations is hailed as a language service company leader having received some of the industry’s most prestigious awards.

With a strong service tradition and family business culture, the award-winning company still serves its first client – the Social Security Administration. Sonia’s sons, Robert Santiago and Carlos Santiago, serve as executives with Para-Plus Translations, preserving and building upon the original core values and vision.
